Training Conference – Privacy and Artificial Intelligence in Education 22–23 October 2025

President of the Personal Data Protection Office, Mirosław Wróblewski, invites all interested parties to attend the conference “Privacy and Artificial Intelligence in Education”, which will be open to the public. The event will take place on 22–23 October 2025 and will offer an opportunity to exchange experiences, gain up-to-date knowledge, and highlight the role of schools in shaping pupils’ awareness of personal data protection and the right to privacy.

This conference is part of the nationwide educational programme “Your Data – Your Concern”, initiated by the President of the Personal Data Protection Office. The programme is aimed at primary and secondary schools, as well as teacher training centres. Each year, it is organised for teachers and school heads registered in the programme. Its goal is to equip participants with essential knowledge about personal data protection principles in educational institutions and to support the implementation of the programme. It also serves as a platform for sharing experiences and showcasing activities carried out by participants in previous editions.

This year, in response to schools’ growing need for enhanced knowledge on personal data protection, the training format has been revised. Therefore, President Mirosław Wróblewski extends an invitation to all interested individuals to take part in the training conference.

Among the attendees will be representatives of the programme’s honorary patrons, including the Children’s Rights Ombudsman, Ms Monika Horna-Cieślak, and the Ministry of National Education, led by Ms Katarzyna Lubnauer, Secretary of State at the Ministry. Also accepting the invitation to participate is MP Monika Rosa, Chair of the Committee on Children and Youth, and Ms Joanna Bochniarz, President of the Polish Airports Foundation, which supports Personal Data Protection Office’s initiatives under the programme.

Over the two-day conference, participants will have the opportunity to hear from experts in artificial intelligence and education, as well as long-standing leaders of the “Your Data – Your Concern” programme, who will enthusiastically share their experiences and insights with fellow educators. Speakers will include Personal Data Protection Office experts and invited guests such as representatives from the Ministry of National Education and the Centre for Education Development, Mr Kamil Śliwowski, a digital skills educator, Ms Magdalena Bigaj, founder and president of the Digital Citizenship Institute Foundation, and Mr Maciej Groń, legal counsel at NASK.

We warmly invite participants of the “Your Data – Your Concern” educational programme and anyone interested in personal data protection and artificial intelligence in the context of school education to join the online broadcast.

Links to the live stream will be made available on the day of the event.
