The Personal Data Protection Office on tour across Poland – Wielkopolska Voivodeship

The lack of regional branches across Poland of the Personal Data Protection Office inspired the initiative of nationwide meetings ‘The Personal Data Protection Office on tour across Poland’– a series of visits by the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in all voivodships. Their aim is to talk directly with data controllers, data protection officers, residents, representatives of public administration, entrepreneurs and local government officials about the challenges related to the protection of personal data.

20-21 May 2025  President of the Personal Data Protection Office, Mirosław Wróblewski, attorney at law, together with the Office’s experts, will visit the Wielkopolska Voivodeship – Poznań.

First day 20 May 2025

Time: 12:00-15:00

Place: Marshal's Office of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship in Poznań, Niepodległości Avenue 34, SESSION ROOM

Meeting with representatives of public administration

Programme:

12:00-13:15 – "Challenges related to the processing of personal data in the activities of public bodies"

Speakers:

• Mirosław Wróblewski, President of the Personal Data Protection Office

• Monika Krasińska, Director of the Law and New Technologies Department, the Personal Data Protection Office

13:15-13:30 – Discussion

13:45-15:00 – “The role and position of data protection officers in public bodies and their cooperation with the Personal Data Protection Office”

At the same time, from 12:00 to 14:00, individual consultations on the personal data protection will take place, conducted by experts from the Personal Data Protection Office (in the same location).
