"The Polish SA on tour across Poland" – Katowice
On November 21, at the University of Economics in Katowice, at the Department of Business Law, the second scientific conference "Information security in an organisation and its resources" was held. It was organised in cooperation with the Personal Data Protection Office as part of the cyclical event "The Polish SA on tour across Poland". The substantive partners of the conference were: the journal "Political Scienes of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn" and KiHG Radcowie Prawni Sp.P.
The first panel, "Information security and the development of modern technologies. Current challenges for data controllers" was attended by the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, Mirosław Wróblewski, together with Monika Krasińska, Director of the Case Law and Legislation Department, and Piotr Drobek, Counsellor to the Personal Data Protection Office.
In the second panel, "The Data Protection Officer as professional support for the controller's activities in the field of personal data security", the Personal Data Protection Office was represented by: Monika Młotkiewicz, Head of the Division of Cooperation with Data Protection Officers in the Case Law and Legislation Departament, and Natalia Misiuk, Director of the High Tech Department.
At the same time, in the Katowice City Hall, it was possible to receive a legal advice in the field of data protection provided by the Personal Data Protection Office’s experts related to the Infoline of the City Hall.
