Workshop for students begins the celebration of the 18th Data Protection Day
The Personal Data Protection Office invites students to participate in a workshop: „A safe way through cyberspace: from deep fakes to mobile applications’ security”. The meeting is aimed at disseminating knowledge on the safe use of new technologies, including mobile applications, among young people. This is the first meeting in the series of celebrations of the 18th International Data Protection Day.
The workshop organised by the Polish SA will take place on January 10, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. at the seat of the Personal Data Protection Office in Warsaw at 2 Stawki Street. It is aimed at students of law, administration, international relations and computer science.
The meeting will be divided into two thematic blocks:
- New technologies - types, opportunities and threats.
- Mobile applications’ security
At the end of the workshop, a short quiz on the issues raised during the meeting will await the participants.
The meeting is organised by the Personal Data Protection Office as part of the celebration of the 18th Data Protection Day. The workshop will start a series of activities that the Office has planned in connection with the Data Protection Day in 2024. We will inform about further initiatives soon.
