The President of UODO initiated ex officio proceedings against the Ministry of Justice and KRS
In connection with the suspicion of the infringement of the personal data processing, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) initiated the ex officio proceedings against the Ministry of Justice and the National Council of the Judiciary (KRS).
The media information obtained by the President of UODO shows that both the Ministry of Justice and the National Council of the Judiciary allegedly collected and processed personal data of an unspecified group of judges, as well as their families and relatives, and shared them with the third parties. Therefore, the President of UODO asked to clarify these issues.
In his letters, the President of the Office also asked whether the actions aimed at possible reporting the violation of personal data protection to the President of UODO were taken by these institutions.
Further actions in this matter will depend on the received answers.
